With the 50th Nose event coming up, maybe some talented folks could get all of Ouch's images together plus what Allie has shared with us about her dad, print em up into a book via the Interweb, sell them at the Nose show in The Valley and donate the proceeds to an Ouch approved cause.
Or something along those lines.
Maybe offer said books for sale at Sushifests.
His art is priceless. And while much of it is animated, even the stills arranged in storyboard fashion would bust a gut. Perhaps they are humorous only to the denizens of this deep and twisted TacoStand. So what.
Ouch abides.

dipper. check out my other thread. We're already working on compiling everything in one place (but just the web for now). I love the idea of an Ouch comic book. Only "problem" is it'd be 1000 pages!

Allie: thanks for sharing how much your father meant to you. He sounds like quite a guy. I'm sure you'll miss him a lot. We were blessed to have his humor on Supertopo, sometimes you just don't know it until after the fact. I always appreciated that your dad was always humorous in a friendly manner, and ever was mean spirited about it.
He'll be missed by many.
Regards

Man, what sad news.
Ouch was one of the reasons that I started hanging out on this forum. I always hoped to be the butt of one of his comics, but never made it. Oh well, he certainly brightened my day more than once.
He will be sorely missed.
My deepest condolences.

I am so sorry to hear that OUCH! has left us and has left Earth. My sympathy and regards to his family.
OUCH! had the best humor. He could say so much in one of his animated illustrations.
I know I sometimes bring up the most contraversial topics at times on the Super Taco, I guess that is just me. Why talk about the weather when you can talk about things that deeply matter and get people to really think and discuss? The ST is truly one of the best climber campfires to come to and just hang-out and talk.
I recall starting and talking about aliens on one particular ST thread sometime ago, and OUCH! made a great illustration with climbing aliens. I laughed soooo hard tears were coming to my eyes.
I will have to find that thread and post a link here.
Here is one, I know there is another:

OUCH! you will truly be missed. God's speed. I'm sure you have God and all the angels laughing by now.

Truly, deeply sad news.
He was, obviously, much-loved and appreciated on this forum.
He so often was able to reboot a thread just before it got terribly ugly and, I think, helped keep people from saying things they might eventually regret. That reveals insight, smarts and gentle wisdom.
I enjoyed reading his bio, Allie ... it fills in the blanks and makes me able to even more appreciate his great art.

I would like to offer my deepest heartfelt condolences to all of the friends and family of Ouch's.
Very rarely does a person such as Ouch come along, and my world is better having meet part of his.
RIP

Peace to you and your family, Allie. I only hope I can touch my daughter’s life as much as your dad did yours.

This is very sad news. Though I am new here, I've greatly enjoyed OUCH!'s humor.
Allie, I recently lost my dad as well. Besides losing my best friend, I felt like a library full of one of a kind books had just burned down. I am so sorry for your loss. My dad didn't want a memorial either but my family felt like we needed to for our own sakes. This morning I happened to grab the book which I had read from and the pages were still book marked. I don't know if this helps at all, but it helped me at the time. Thank you for sharing with us!
"When you are sorrowful look again in your heart, and you shall see that in truth you are weeping for that which has been your delight...
If you would indeed behold the spirit of death, open your heart wide unto the body of life. For life and death are one, even as the river and sea are one...For what is it to die but to stand naked in the wind and to melt into the sun? And what is it to cease breathing, but to free the breath from its restless tides, that it may rise and expand and seek God unencumbered? Only when you drink from the river of silence shall you indeed sing. And when you have reached the mountain top, then you shall begin to climb. And when the earth shall claim your limbs, then shall you truly dance."

More CLASSICS from Ouch!!!
and, a couple of quotes after the animations.
MisterE: "Could there be a Ouch/Cos PS Pro smackdown contest shaping up?
I think so! lol!"
Dwain/Cosmic:"Won't happen, MisterE.
I'd LOSE to the MASTER!!!! "
And I meant every word of my quote Allie!
You are very Lucky to have a Father like him.

What a legacy Ouch leaves: to be mourned across the country by a community demonstrates the presence he brought to this life. I offer prayers of comfort for all his family. And for Ouch, a prayer for a smooth send to the next dimension.

Well this is rather sad. Whenever there was a controversy Ouch was sure to have a comic to break up the monotony. The Tacostand will not be the same as will bear #46. May your toons enter the third dimension.
