just trying to keep some LEB free havens on the front page.
I'm for that! She's mounted quite a campaign lately.

In keeping with the semi political drinking theme:
Q. Why did Hitler quit drinking whiskey?
A. It made him mean.

Yawn, same ole same ole, which is not the same as olé.
But since this is a non-climbing thread, thanks Slakkey, I just have to say that I despise George W Bush to the full. The guy should be jailed for life, but he will be held up by the right-twits a a hero. Go figure.
Now for Hardman Knott... ;-)
Hey Paul, does whiskey make you frisky?

As a filmmaker making a film about a climber, I come here to read about climbing related things.
Political stuff is interesting, but can be found a zillion places elsewhere on the internet.
I take part in a forum that discusses filmmaking issues. If someone gets on there and tries to talk about politics, the message doesn't even get posted. Why?
Moderators...
This site has no moderators, it would appear, and therefore, anyone with a point of view (or maybe even a pointless point of view...)who craves an audience (LEB comes to mind) can blather on about anything but climbing.
I'm not a climber per se, but last year I did manage the east ledges and ended up at the top of Zodiac and I jugged up a pitch or two (I forget exactly how much...it was too much frigging fun to be counting) of the Nose. I watched the Hubers break the Nose speed record. These are things to talk about on a forum like this, not politics. I watched Everest climber Dave Hahn heading up El Cap with Conrad, Ivo and Mr. Chin. I watched Cedar Wright perform slackline magic. Why tell you this? Cause it's a friggin' forum about CLIMBING for crying out loud. Politely say "No!" to extraneous BS. Don't let it be posted.
The solution is an easy one: moderators.

Museum thats awesome how you instill a love for the outdoors in your son. Too many kids today have no reason to get their butts off the sofa.
I spent Oct 24 - Nov 2 on a climbing trip in the Rockies and blissfully unaware of this forum. Supposed to be alpine ice up at longs but there wasn't any. I bet the poo was really flying close to election day. I made a point not to even look until the smoke cleared. People get stoopid.
