Better than any dumb chariot flick with men in leather skirts that I've ever seen!

Man, there are some good photos on this thread! Larry's talent goes without saying, and I don't think the TarMaster has ever taken a bad photo in his life, nor had one taken of him. In fact, you're all kinka looking like climbing models for PataGucci...must be the beer. :-)

Thanks for naming names, Phil. (Hey, check your email.)

And finally I see the GoatBoy...the Cat-photo Manipulator...;-)

... and you'll notice, swank sexy dear little kitten L, -that I captioned my group photo with names, as Phil noted & as you requested!

But wait, that's not all.
This afternoon, in Golden Colorado, Larry and his father and I took a little field trip to the American Alpine Club Museum...

Larry, Bill Roos, and Larry's dad,
Just inside the foyer of the AAC:

Bill Roos is a 35 year veteran of Outward Bound.
He, Larry, and Paul Sibley all climbed together in Eldorado Canyon in the early 70s.

... that was long before Larry became known as Chiloe, ... or Spartacus.

Hey, those AAC photos turned out well! What a trio, either one.

Unforeseen life complications forced me to cancel climbing plans with Bob D and Lord Slime today,
but instead I introduced my Dad to Tarbuster and we three took a walk down Dowdy Draw.

Yes, I did notice Mr. Tar-Handsome. Thanks for adding names.

Just one more question...who's the guy in the black t-shirt and baseball cap?

Those photos are making me smile...

Tar, are you going to FaceLift? Chiloe?

who's the guy in the black t-shirt and baseball cap?

I learned something new about Tarbuster today, or think I did ... at times, to blend in with the locals,
he might not wear a Stetson.

I have my Dad's sense of style.

But for some back story…
Here's a picture which Chiloe snapped of Paul Sibley some years ago,
On top of a route in the park, The Rocky Mountain National Park, circa 1970 or so:

And here's a shot of Billy at his home in Eldorado Springs about 15 years back:
(you may notice in the background, some of Billy's pictures of 7 and 8000 m peaks)
(no worries yet, the wheelchair was just for show)

But here's the clincher, a photo which Paul Sibley gave me years ago,
Bill Roos age 14 or thereabouts:

And today, Chiloe and Billy admiring some of the art work now present at the AAC museum, on loan from France:

And a look at that little beauty up close,
Yes it is très français!!!

And no L, mon petit morsel femme feline fatale, I for my part, sadly, will not be at the Facelift.

Bill hasn't changed a bit! The rest of us either!
That's a great photo, Tar, hadn't seen that one before.
I hope he's not hating this thread, Bill's a good guy.

Then there's this gorgeous computer-generated 3-D model of Mount Everest, Lhotse and the surrounding peaks:
