Nita, Sunjule, glad you liked it. It was a luminous day. We weren't actually on Whitehorse or Cathedral, but climbed a couple of routes on one of North Conway's "other" ledges.
Along the drive home, we had to stop for this famous view.

'Getting some terrific reds & oranges from both coasts.
Nita, I like the dogwood shot!
No Chiloe, both climbing partners & my Supertopo reserve had issues crop up. I was along primarily to do the return driving over Vail pass for Lisa, as some snow was correctly predicted.
Here she is in her Fall Colors:
Lisa took 2nd place in the Moab Half Marathon behind a 20 something gal,
And she knocked the Masters record down by 2 minutes.

Mal, that's a fine one. Like Tar's but even more contrast between leaves and shadow. I miss those places.

Love the 4 leaves, Chiloe & also the Tarbuster shot just above Lisa.
More Indian Creek from last week. Quite a contrast to San Diego this week.

Most of the leaves on our trail are yellow, but under one swamp maple it's all mixed with red -- I actually said "Whoa!" walking past.
So I told Jack to stand there while I took his picture. That's his "Why am I standing here?" look.

Gorgeous photos you guys (and gal). Nice to see color not muted by smoke.
Jack is one handsome pooch, Chiloe.

What really amazes me is that yesterday I was in NYC and in Central Park the leaves have BARELY started to turn colors!
Must be the latest fall I've ever seen there.
(The trees probably know something we don't,..)
