Anyone see Pat Buchanan's editorial opinion on the wall? He said that the wall was necessary to maintain white male domination in America, and he warned about the evils of a multiracial society in which women and minorities played a more important role. AOC must be making him squirm in his tighty whities.

She’s only requesting that Trump postpone his speech...Trump would undoubtedly say FU to that, since part of her motivation would be to not allow Trump a megaphone for his blather.
Interestingly, though, I read an opinion piece in the National Review today by a stalwart conservative, who is definitely not a Trump or Pelosi fan- he felt that Pelosi, as Speaker, should specifically tell Trump that he was not invited to the House to deliver the SOTU.

"Who" means nothing in this thread, there are at least 20 people posting to it.
I lean left on more political issues than I lean right on (and there are a few of the latter). I'm only rabidly "left" on one issue that I can think of (protection of wilderness).
I post some on this thread.
Am I a "who?"
I don't mean to be obtuse here, Jody, but our political situation in this country is not, most emphatically not, just black and white. There are tons of people, tons who THINK FOR THEMSELVES. People who weigh facts and compare multiple points of view. I'm one of them.
She's not my hero (although I admit that it is nice to have someone way to that side of the spectrum; it seems like good balance and a bit of a change).

It's all relative, especially in today's politics.
She'll likely run up against reality, which will temper this kind of stuff. What's the harm in it, anyway? It's not like she has a long history of sexual abuse, or buddying up with white supremacists, and some of the worst dictators on the planet.
