Trying to drop pounds while injured is the worst (because that leaves what, dieting?) I hope your knee feels better soon, Aya.
Down 2.4. I'm sure the other 7.6 are going to be way harder.

Ok ok, all right. I'd forgotten. It's all about the support. We are supposed to make you feel like you are eating better 'n us. ;-) I'll take pictures and post them up too. Too early for dinner yet tho
And Burchey will be fine. As soon as his wife gives birth, he'll shed those pounds in sympathy and be back to 200# in no time.

Was hoping I will a)make someone gag b) feel good about their life. Hopefully it is c)all of the above.
Yes, welcome to come over to Starbucks and share that with me. Along with a bottle of Zzyquil and a few hypoglycemia induced passive aggressive jokes. Could be super fun, if I don't choke anyone on the way there.
Did I mention I can bring chewing gum and pickles we can eat for snacks?

Ewwww mushrooms
I stopped eating meat about 10 days ago. That usually jump starts my weight loss attempts.
Been trying to shed the 10 or so pounds I put on after my surgery. It's been like a year... I fail at weight loss.

169.8, post-breakfast (oatmeal, of course!). The return to a vegetarian diet always strips the pounds off of me. Oatmeal for breakfast, with some fruit and nuts mixed in, brown sugar and milk. Coffee and yogurt (both good for keeping the pipes clean).
For lunch, rice or roti, some kind of dahl or beans, a cooked vegetable, and some salad. Dinner, much the same as lunch. That, combined with an increase in exercise whenever I'm home, do the trick.
I don't drink much beer anymore, probably because of the limited varieties local to Asia (yes, there is good beer, but not the range of US or Europe). Whisky & water, or if I've recently returned from someplace with good shops, wine.
Chocolate is probably my greatest vice, I will see if I can pare it down to a minimum.

Susan. Great call on those cherry tomatoes for color!
We had Kale and onions as a vegetable side, and potatoes and edamame pasta with carrots in spicy Thai peanut sauce.
No oil added, except for what was in the peanuts. I had seconds on the potatoes...
That should make V feel better about his food ;)

Great job everyone (except locker - don't sneeze)
Besides fish I'm pretty much vegan so not a lot changes in my diet. Cutting out flour based carbs (no tort's with my Mexican dishes for instance) is helping a ton I think.
One problem I'm sure to face is muscle mass building up. To hit my projected weight I have to lose close to 20 pounds of whale blubber.

Nice grub, everybody!
Fasting, except for Doritos. And Dave wanted to get a beer after work, so that too.

Nice Vitaly! Love the post. Good job, way to press on through and do the second part of the workout, sounds like you were rewarded for your efforts. Punishing burrito picture, though, not what I need right now.

I had to look ZzyQuil up. That's a sleep aid.... You works nights or something Vitaliy? Even working graveyard shift as a kid wrecked me...
Off for the morning 6 miles on trail. Dog DEMANDS it.

Bloating is awesome, because I'm down 6.4 since Sunday AM. Can't keep this up forever though I'd win easily if I could.

Allright- I've been lurking. I'm in too. I still have Christmas pudge hanging around. Normally I hit the ground running after New Years and get back in shape... but I tore my right calf right out of the gate first week in Feb. No cardio no climbing until it heals. Meh.
I'm not a good dieter- especially since the husband is such an excellent cook and it's hard not to clean the plate. Usually I just get outside more and the weight goes away, but injuries and cold weather are a hindrance. Initially I'll try to just drop all the comfort carbs and sugar.
I did bravely run the gauntlet of Girlscout cookies at the market yesterday without caving in. It was hard :(
I'm at 136. 130 is normal... 127 is what I consider "fighting weight" for optimal climbing. Looking to get rid of that 6 pounds to get back to "normal".
Great blog Vitaliy- Yoga is NOT for me either. I'm way to hyper active to sit quietly ever, and downward... anything...is just torture. Did take up pilates which is way more fun and I can work around the various injures easier.
