Good Post Nut.. thanks.

One other note. Scent.

Most of what SEAL/S, GB's, DELTA etc do is long range "recon" and surveillance work. Some are a week long deep into enemy controlled territory. Detection is not an option. If a female is having her deal, she can actually compromise the Op if her scent gets down wind. This is a serious no shet issue. Many of our potential enemies have and utilize dogs just as we do that keep an active guard over their installations. And them dogs are good at picking up scents up to a mile that are NOT normal to them and then setting the alarm as to a foreign presence.

Thoughts...

Sounds rough Chief.

You're saying that if a dog can smell blood, it compromises the op?

Then I guess the answer is not to bleed, whether one is male or femaie....or mask the scent with something more potent...? Baking soda? I dunno Chief, I don't have answers for those situations. If scent is an issue, scent is an issue and has to be handled.

No bloody noses folks and leave the hand lotion at home.

Cheers

Vaginal BLood that is soaked up in in a tampon that has remained in place for over 18-30 hours is far different than a nose bleed. Some ops require NO movement for up to 36 hours at a time. Some even longer. Some require remaining in a shet infested canal for days at a time. Waiting for the "target" to arrive etc.

This is no joke. SOmething that most here would never expect to compromise and op. Very critical actually.

What can I say. This thread is at least entertaining.

ODOR EATERS?

I always heard it was rock, paper, scissors, but now we have to contend with sheeit and menstrual blood?

Can I be the first to recommend Vaninellahyde scented tampons?

El Chapo recommends it.

Ok chief

After giving it some real thought, there are subdermal implants that can stop a woman's monthly bleed for up to 6 years. I know women who get it for free from planned parenthood.

It would take care of the tampon issue...

Cheers

Ps-please keep in mind that I am a civilian. It's a fact that civilian solutions to military dilemmas rarely work in practice. My thoughts are only those of a crazy CIVILIAN madwoman not definitive answers or solutions. Cheers!

Interesting.

Could that implant fail and cause an infection issue?

There's nothing more fearful to a radical Islamist than the aroma of ripe pussy!!

Who said anything about them dudes?

SPECWAR RECON Ops are being conducted on a regular basis all over this globe.

Ukraine ring a bell? North Korea, the Arctic Circle etc...

THOCKING, ask your brother about doing a female berthing inspection and finding one of them "thangs" that wasn't disposed of properly. Ask him that question.

Depo provera used to stop periods (birth control injection).
Also, if you take the pill, skipping the placebos and going straight to the new pack (day 1) will stop periods too.

Just a FYI for all the mens concerned about women bleeding here...

Your first post hit the nail on the head. It's a shame we can't learn
to negotiate any more. . .especially as new stories come out of
Afghanistan of American atrocities. . . (not that the Taliban and
Afghan soldiers haven't their own lists of them). . .

War is never the answer.

I don't really know Chief. All the women I know who have it are civilians and don't get into the kinds of situations you describe.

But if the Internet doesn't know, than a doctor would...

Thanks!

LOcker...

Part of my job was to hold Berthing Inspections on all the Divisional personal. That included the female berthing.

And yes, on occasion one of them thangs was found in the most bizarre locations. Part of the deal we had to contend with.

Hell, I have even found them at the base of routes or on trail to a climb. I started calling them Coyote Jolly Ranchers.

Also, if you take the pill, skipping the placebos and going straight to the new pack (day 1) will stop periods too.

Hey Anita, any physical side effects that could hinder performance in any way?

Girls can climb just as hard as men.

They can't fight as hard as men.

Sorry...

The male of the black widow species is tiny. I like to think in their world they stand on a handful of phone books and exclaim that they too are feared the world over, like their female counterparts...

Chief: I don't know. Maybe? I never did that as I don't like the idea of playing around with those hormones. I'm also lucky in that my p lasts 3 days from start to end. Never trust something that bleeds for 7 days and doesn't die.

Aren't there a significant number of female so-called suicide bombers?

Anyone reading this forum willing to "strap-on" and blow-up a bunch of people and his/her self?

It is after all September 11, right. Could a woman have flown those planes?

Why did the towers collapse?

Thanks Anita for the frank answer.

Hormones... Nope. No deal. No can go/do.

Bottom line, changing the physical basic protocols here at home will not work out there in the real world of what Operators are required to do in many bizarre and different far away lands. Having to depend on any artificial means in order to perform the duties required equally, definitely no go and not an option. That possibility is not allowed for the men. Why should the standards be changed for the women when the original integration premise was to allow females to perform duties that he males can without any changing of the current manner the military operates.

Gender equality and all that stuff.

Since when do girls climb as hard as men?

That's news to me, GD

It's probably one of the closest of any professional sport. Men have climbed 9C+, women 9A. Women can do climbs set by the best men only 15-20 years before. Very few sports does that happen.

Also, this. Yes, we are built differently...

Trainees?

Female suicide bombers are not a new phenomenon

“A person wearing a bomb is far more dangerous and far more difficult to defend against than a timed device left to explode in a marketplace. This human weapons system can effect last-minute changes based on the ease of approach, the paucity or density of people, and the security measures in evidence…In April of last year a female suicide bomber tried to enter the Mahane Yehuda open-air market—the fourth woman to make such an attempt in four months—but was deterred by a strong police presence. So she simply walked up to a bus stop packed with shoppers hurrying home before the Sabbath and detonated her explosives, killing six and wounding seventy-three.”

Just to add to your comment up thread ZBrown..

The Russians and Chinese have in fact utilized women snipers in the past and continue to do so today.

Now that is an option for them to pursue. But is takes a certain soul to shoot a .50 cal round into a young child's head that is carrying an identified IED into a group of your patrolling comrades. That btw as you may know is a specialty that is performed by SPECWAR Operators. That individual btw is often code named.. "GOD".

No pain Mr E... reality.

But of course your kind doesn't understand nor accept such a thing. You're too into the fantasy make believe happy happy world.

BTW, the avg age of the typical modern ISIS fighter, 17 y/o. That Mr.E is technically still a child.

The typical age of VC in South Vietnam, 14 y/o. That btw was JFK/LBJ's nice shetfest. And, the proving grounds for both the SEAL/S and GB's. Both the VC and NVA regs feared them men with Green Faces that came out of the dark of night, did their deeds and vanished just as quickly as they came. Into thin air.
