It's supposed to be somewhere between 4:30am and 7:00 am, with
the full eclipse in Denver at around 6:00 am.
Good viewing!!!

Just finished talking to the night sky for a bit and walked into the Casa.
Checked our "Campfire" and read and viewed all your awesome posts. You guys get the moon and you rock. Edge, great to have you sending shots all the way from the East Coast, and Paul Tolman, Alaska.
Thank You All. Special. lynnie

Lynnie, that shot was taken from my back deck at 8100' in the Rockies. I haven't been on the East Coast for 2 years.

The moon woke me about 5:45 this morn, shining thru the French doors. Beautiful blood red eclipse, indeed.

The lunar eclipse over the Sierra crest around 5 am this morning was fantastic.

Beauty captured.....Thanks Bolte, Mouse and everyone. Nice poetry Edge would it be from an old novel?
Can't wait to see what tonight offers. I think we're supposed to have a total lunar eclipse at some point.

Nice pics Mouse and Cosmic. Tonight's the real deal. In May it's called the Flower Moon, Corn planting Moon as well as Mother's Moon. The names depict the spring and growth as well as what Mom's give us. Going for a hike tonight to glory in its beauty.
Cheers All :)

I'm outside and we have a great moon with clouds passing thru and over the redwood trees.
Note to lynne: I must get a camera that shoots at night.
Anyone in San Diego County or anywhere for that fact that's catching this awesome glimpse into our spectacular outdoor world? Grab someones hand close to you and get them out to view the wonderment.

O! the moon...in June.Or in Mammoth.
In Merced, at 5:07 a.m. the moon was just barely above the western horizon yesterday morning; about 5:57 the sun crept over the Sierra Nevada.
Do the math right and take a shot of the moonset AND the sunrise from your own location.
Merced co-ordinates are: 37.3000° N, 120.4833° W. Time in your area is relative to the longitude, remember.
(As if anyone out there is awake at 2:00 a.m. to read this and act on it!)
