Whitemeat call the office to see how much of that Valium you should take. Some of that might be for the night before.

I agree. 15mg might be a bit much for a stringbean like you.

And btw, beg the assistant to take some photos on your phone of the 'during" and right after. Make sure to tell her the code or unlock it. Enjoy, and post up!

Alright folks,

At 8:25 this morning I took 15mg of valium ... That had zero effect on me, didn't make me feel anything... Weird!

At 9:30 I went in, I was freaked out but I just kept telling myself that I have climbed el cap, this ain't nothing! They put in the Iv and a thing on my nose... I was out, now it gets weird, I woke up kind of, i woke up to the dude pulling teeth and what not, no pain but I tried to talk, they said I was doing great and I think they put me back out... Then I was in the car with my mom, that's the last thing I remember! I drove home and now have gnarly numb chin and lips... Can't talk right. So overall, so far anyway, that was easy as hell!! If it doesn't get worse from here on out then this whole thing was nothing to ever worry about!

Woooooohoooooo! Hanging out with my dog watching climbing videos!

You are obviously still on the pain meds.
It'll get a little edgy as they wear off....but you're a tough guy and will do just fine!!!

Put those teeth under your pillow. The tooth fairy pays handsomely on the wisdom.

Thats the thing, I haven't taken any pain meds... And don't think I am going to need them either!

Ya you did. You took the valium and when they put you out they probably had some in that too.

Be ready. It's gonna suck for a bit.. Lol not too bad though. The worst is over. Just keep those cotton things in the holes so they don't get infected. Don't smoke or drink through a straw either. Trust me. Don't mess with dry infected hole. No bueno.

They didn't give you any t3's or anything? Get your mom to give you at least some Ibuprofen or something so you can sleep tonight.

If you get through this okay consider having the rest removed and getting some dentures. You won't have to worry when you get into remote alpine regions far away from a dentist.....I know that someone as keen as you is headed in that direction.

Look at Whitemeat.....four hour out.....all hopped up on narcotics and brave right now. Sayin' he don't need no stinkin' pills. By tomorrow he'll be swollen like a chipmunk and beggin for the morphine and Jim Beam.

BETTER FASTER STRONGER TOUGHER

We have the technology!

(hmm methinks WM may be too young to catch the reference)

Get that appendix removed while at it.

That's the problem. There's probably still a lot of meds in your system...the trick is stay ahead of the curve...once pain starts it's harder to rein it back in. Perhaps you are one of the lucky ones but monitor it carefully....no reason to needlessly suffer!
Take care!

I dont know gang... It really doesn't hurt at all... I have never taken any pain pills yet or anything.

It is just sore, like i can notice that the dude had my jaw wrenched open for an hour type thing...

I am not going to take them pain pills until i feel pain... I know you guys think it is wrong but i guess we will see!!!

Hey Donini, If i do that will you take me on a trip somewhere like the bugaboos? I would consider it :)!!!!!!!

If you don't take the pills till you feel it, they won't take effect until it's really bad.. But hey.. Some people like to learn the hard way.... ( I know I do...) lol

The pain didn't hit me for a day or so then was bad for a couple days. If you need to pop those pills. It was the only time I've taken anything other than over the counter pain relievers.

And why does that not surprise me??!! Except for the broken leg (maybe the exception that proves the rule?)

Rock it Mickey! Chomp Chomp
