This is funny. Y'all fight with him and talk sh#t for how long now...I've lost count. He leaves without any fanfare, and you complain because there isn't a "poor me I am outta here" thread for you to rag on.
Forums have a life span. Look what happened to RC.com, that was actually a really good community at one time and now it's a joke. What brought it down is the same thing that is happening here.
There are many positive posters here that have simply left without fanfare. Others of us still lurk, but choose not to post or get involved anymore. In my case, it's no great loss, but this has also happened with some pretty hard core guys that used to have a lot to offer us in tales and knowledge.
I used to read or post at least once a day, but anymore I find myself going weeks or months without even bothering. I come in, take a peek and see it's continuing the downhill slide, and leave again and hope it will turn around the next time I check in. I frankly don't see it happening.
For those of you that say "The Taco will be here with or without you" - sure, that's true. RC.com has a few of you that said that too, who mostly sit there and rage at themselves all day because no one is listening anymore. It's still there but I wouldn't waste my time on it.
There would be a way to turn this forum around, but being as you are who you are and human nature is what it is, I think it's too far gone to save.You would all have to drop the back stabbing, bickering and bullshit and go back to remembering why you came here in the first place, which was probably because you loved to climb.
I hate to see how this place has changed, but I don't think there are enough people that care about anything other then their own petty butthurts and agendas for anything to be saved.

There might be a violation of the TOU (but I doubt it) Using peoples pictures as you mentioned is permissible under the Fair Use Doctrine, attribution is not required. Yes, you can borrow other peoples pictures and repost on ST.
