Holy Shit!!!

sorry, I couldn't leave my post until the game was over. There are no words for what this means to this country. Amazing. Better than the wins against Sweden and Scotland in 1990. Wow, one really can dream!

What a tremendous 2nd half for Costa Rica mastering the angles of futbol vs Uruguay

Ouch red card for Pereira. Replay looks like it was well deserved.

Next up Italy vs England

Yes, congratulations Costa Rica!!!
Well earned.
Too bad those last few seconds happened.

Italy, England. This is going to be something to see.

Wow!! All three goals were brilliant. Epic second half.

Now on to UK v. Italy-- surely to be a dreary affair.

I am officially watching 12 hours of television on this fine Saturday!!!!

Happy for you little Z. They deserved that win for sure.

I don't really care for either England or Italy, but it should be a good game. Back to chores...

Being 1/4 English I do care but I love Super Mario. I'd like to see him score
but England to score more. However, I see a 0-0 or 1-1 result looming.
The pitch is supposedly very poor to the point they spray-painted the dead
patches yesterday. Gonna be hot and humid too.

The Manaus venue in the Amazon rainforest will be hot & humid...the players will be soaked in sweat before the game begins. Probably make for a sluggish game. This might slightly favor Italy over England.

Well, that was a far more entertaining half than many expected! England's
new blood is proving most invigorating and Wayno looks re-invigorated.
Now if only Hodgson had the balls to bench Gerrard. Pirlo is amazing and
that Damian lad has some game in him, eh? Loving Ian Darke and Maca - no bullsh1t.

edit:
How the hell do you lose track of Super Mario? Answer: sixes and sevens.

edit 2: How the hell did Rooney miss that? Too much time.

After seeing who England put out there I was wanting them to win. The younger England team is more fun to watch than the old. Gerrard is their anchor Reilly, but he is not as good as Pirlo.
Pirlo is one of the best ever, at first glance you wouldn't even notice him, but afterwards you'll never forget him. A perfect player.

Yeah, Gerrard is an anchor all right, that's why he can't move.

England vs italy - good enough performance from winners Italy, but more surprisingly England missed the wake up call this morning and never recovered the reigns. I would hate to see England dismissed early on.

I was rooting for the Three Lions and have to say Italy was better, though England played well and shows much promise. Pirlo was amazing.

Those players must have lost 5+ lbs during that game. Great match England vs Italy. I thought the best team won. Great goals all 3 of them. SuperMario is a great finisher but doesn't seem to be much of a ball handler...you have to get him the ball near the goal

But I still think this the most spectacular moment of the Cup so far...the flying Dutchman crushing the Spanish defense with this incredible header. The Word Cup...where dynasties go to die.

Try a good pub.

Or get Chromecast.

Last resort, find a friend who does have an account with a provider who is willing to share their account info and use a service like WatchABC or WatchESPN iPad APPs.
