Best wishes to Doug and all of you who make it to Cochise to enjoy his sushi. We really wanted to go, but just couldn't do it.
A few of the Seattle supertopians are getting together for our own mini Supertopo thanksgiving, so we'll raise a glass to all of you fish eaters down there this afternoon.

Anyone need a partner in Cochise on Sunday? Or can I possibly join any single pitch stuff? I will not be joining the actual Sushifest festivities (although I did attend one in Flagstaff in 2007), but I just happen to be in the area right now and it looks like I may not have a partner for Sunday.
Unfortunately, I do not have my rack or rope with me, all I have is my own personal gear, but I would be interested in climbing multi-pitch in the low 10s or any single pitch (not the strongest spurt climber right now; however, I belay up to 5.12).
I will be checking back here through the weekend...Thanks.

yummy fishies -yummy turkey - even the turkey that became jerky. Coffee - french toast. The wind never really blew but 4 or 5 climbers where blow to the ground friday night around the fire. At least one was seen griped by laughter on the way down.

The Master did it once again, the finest that is fo' sho'!
We got stuck on the West Side of the Stronghold, finding the fly paper hard to escape. Still, The Atomizer, Marshead, and yours truly arrived mid-afternoon on Saturday to the East Side, where we found the "fish" sign point the way. Once safely in camp, evidence of graphic partying from the night before abounded, and the fish-heads were just beginning to get their climbing game on.
Magic, that is. Sorry, no pics (my camera ran out of batteries), but I will tell you, Four Smokin' Hot Chicks is one sushi dish that only the Master nature could conjure.
Too good seeing ol' friends, Reload!

It should be re-named, we never really ate any sushi. Nature didn't bother with any rice.
Just fish and more fish, except for the raw quail eggs, clams, crab and some stuff I couldn't ID.
All Good.
Big props to MIKE. he supplied a keg of beer.
And along with the whiskey, smoke and ?????????? the rest is sort of fuzzy.
Make sure you get to the next one because one day "Sushi by Nature" will be bigger than that burning man thing and you will need a VIP Ticket to enter.
And there was way more than 4 hot chicks in attendance.....
true
