If it's to be numbered, I call a low number. In the bottom 10 would be nice.
BTW, what does the H in Jesus H Christ stand for? Juss wonderin.

Is this run going to be numbered?
Good question! Theron and I have never discussed this, and it would be additional work/cost on Theron, but I'll ask him about it.

early numbers go to Theron and co. for all the effort. In 40 years they can retire off the auction after the latest A6 Baffin route gets put up on one of them. :)
numbering could be fun, or just number all of them 0001, then the next batch they get numbered 0002, etc.
I got a drimel tool. I could help.

Or, just a thought given we're trying to raise some money for Alex's foundation, maybe we should auction the first 10...

My thoughts exactly healyje. But perhaps more than 10 numbered, depending on demand? Give or take finished production 6 months from now (just a wild-ass guess since I am not involved with the project), how many climber events from May 2011 until Dec 2011? Red Rocks Rendezvous, Facelift, whatever... Maybe auction a few at a dozen events around the county? How much exposure does the Lowe Foundation want and how much could this net them in the end? Questions I can't answer, but just a thought...
Might I suggest a purpose/recipient for D5 Hammer #1? Framed, in a case, possibly with the names of all the Supertopians who ponied up the cash to help make the project happen. Then given to the Lowe Foundation, or some other more suitable recipient? Again, cost is a factor. But with the community here, perhaps we can get enough donations of work/materials for a display and plaque to be made. Just an idea to spark some creativity. I leave it up to craftier men than I.
Cheers

Wow.... Thanks all of you for your effort on this. This is amazing beyond belief. Inspiring.
Joe - thanks for giving the ALCF props.
Theron - looking forward to meeting you.
JMIV - probably like an author having a reprint in hardback - one of the highest honors. Your design will live on.

Yeah, I'd love to have #13.
That said, I've had a couple hundred bucks burning a hole in my savings account for these things. I think it keeps trying to invite calamity upon me to force me to spend it, how soon till we can send some cash to the project?
Joseph, if you need any help on the leashes, I've now got a nice 42 stitch tacker. I'd be happy to volunteer it's use and my own time if needed.
