Here is my daughter with her Balinese second cousin. This is within walking distance of their Hawaiian home .

dancin dogs, get these 2 males drunk, and they do weird sh#t,

the black dog led us around a fire crew blocking a fire road, we wanted to check out a wildfire at 12 midnight, all boozed up, so the dog found a trail past the tree cops, how cool is that?

Me Slakkey and Joey F (Right to left... im the young dude without a shirt) at the center of the universe. Known Joe since I was a wee lad but moved away from San Fran as a kid and we reunited in the valley so I'd say unexpected for sure!

Hard to see, but check out the bolt and holder in the center foreground, which I picked up among the talus at the base of the Prow on Cathedral Ledge sometime around 1979. The aluminum holder was threaded on one end, and the bolt stud was then twisted into place. The other end of the bolt was it's own drill, complete with longitudinal slots so that it could expand when ponded in over a separate wedge.

I remember seeing those bolts sold at a sporting goods shop
that sold some climbing gear in Seattle in early 70's.
They might have been usable in sandstone for aid, eh?
Can't believe somebody woulda tried using them in the Valley
but that might explain their being hucked.

Hey squirrell, that looks like Split Rock on Ring Mountain. I use to rope my kids up there when they were knee high to a grasshopper. On the right day, some of the best bouldering views in CA.

Wouldn't the unexpected photo from Locker be something utterly mundane and normal?
