Click ' My Settings' then click on the My Forum Posts tab and you will see your post to the thread listed and you will be able to read the rest of the thread.

yeah i did do that a couple of minutes ago, to see if the thread was removed.
i just don't get.
i have deleted my stuff before, but usually at the suggestion of others, for being offensive, not funny, or just plain stupid.
i don't understand deleting whole threads which people have put time, and effort in to their responses, just because OP didn't like what people were posting.
this is un American, dammit!

so i met this guy who was pretty cool. we were paddling and hella flirting. i wouldn't give him my digees but instead cleverly gave him my facebook URL, thinking if he was really interested, he would have to remember.
and remember he did. he added me online and we were totally chatting it up. then a couple days go by without hearing from him and then it popped up that "john doe is in a relationship"
and i thought, what the hell? so i deleted him and was like, sorry but i'm not in the mood to befriend some random attached dood who i talked to for like five minutes"
and he responded, saying he thinks i'm attractive and that if circumstances were different he'd be totally into me.
my question is, why put out the temptation in the first place if you are seeing someone and deciding whether or not you want to be in a relationship?
so lame. geeeeez!
at the same time, i'm relieved. i am so happy being a full-time student at a four year school, and i have so many blessings in my life that i don't really even have a lot of time to date.
discuss.

OMG. My procrastination skills impress even me. This is *not* the way to figure out web/forum design... I don't really care about the thread, but interesting to know that deleted threads are sometimes revivable.

Can we get our heads around the following?
Standing Strong actually could go talk to a living woman who, early in her lifetime, was considered to be owned property. In many places that continued even after women got the right to vote.
Right now it is the women who are trying to adapt to this unbelievable rate of change. Shaking off a million years of biologically caused dependence takes "a bit of effort."
SS is in university making a life for herself. A young lady who fixes her own truck - isn't afraid of much. When she runs into a young man who is doing the same and also is not afraid of much
they'll both know it.

Last two women I dated had me as a backup. "I'm 'dating' someone else....but I want to date you too, is that O.K.?" UMMMM I guess so;means I keep looking too,right? Except they were both more than just dating that someone. Short end of the stick two times in a row. I think I need a couple back up girlfriends now. Note to self: that's why you need a back up girlfriend.

a lot of times her threads are started late at night with the sorority girl mating call "i am sooooo drunk", and you get some silly stupid stuff.
i thought pop, lock, and drop, was retarded, but no bootie call deck, was classic.
This thread looked like it could have been a classic, but i was road tripping, I Phone only, and not able to contribute.
I don't have a back up girlfriend, hell i don't even have a girlfriend, but i have lots of women in my life.
they all know where they stand, and most know about the others.
they all serve different purposes.
intellectual stimulation, humor, surfing, sailing, climbing, biking, charity work, SMBing, bootie calls, hiking, casual meals, dancing, snorkeling, etc.etc.
i don't see an issue with having back ups, for different stuff.
i do see an issue with leading someone to believe that they might be involved in an intimate physical, spiritual, and intellectual relationship, that is supposed to be monogamous, but it isn't.
that is dishonest, can hurt feelings, and just ain't right.
sorry i didn't get to contribute to the thread while it was here.
don't know why it went away, but probably just another example of Locker f*#king it up for everyone.
Oh yeah, when am i going to get my shoes back?
