4th Annual Bear Valley Boulder Bash

Mark you calendars and start training for the "4th Annual Bear Valley Boulder Bash" on Saturday October 3rd, 2009. This fun event is held at the Hells Kitchen bouldering area 5 miles west of Bear Valley conveniently located a stones throw from scenic Highway 4 at 6,800 feet.

This event is designed for both experienced and novice climbers, including friends and spectators. It's a great excuse to pull, push and cheer while climbers do their dance on the numerous scenic granite boulders.

100+ climbs will be included in this years competition ranging from 5.6 to V10. Prizes will be awarded to top finishers in all divisions and categories.

Check out the webpage for more info, there are a few other events too. There is a Road century on the 29th if anyone is interested in that also. BOth will be great fun!

sweet thanks noah, this is the 4th year and there has been an increasing number of climbers there every year, so hopefully we can see 50+ entries this year. I think there was about 35 last year.

Hey Eric,
I'll be up over the 3 day weekend. You know there is no climbing up that way.
