This past week (Jun 6-13) forecast was showing T Storms every day. Going forward, same thing. Anyone know if these have been hitting the valley or going on to Tuolumne?

Historical data shows ~0.1 in falling the past few days - unclear where that was.

I'm looking at weather.com.

Thanks

Basically for the last 2 weeks the weather in the Sierras has sucked. Fine to go crag but questionable on many (not all) days for anything super long. Go down south instead Taquitz and domelands weather is better. Hoping everything clears in a week or so.

Thanks. Sounds like a day at Reeds is in order on Sat or Sun.

Check the El Cap reports, usually Tom explains weather trends on the Cap in his report.

I find it helpful anyway, albeit a small window,

Thanks - did not think of the El Cap report. Sounds like it rained on the 5th (though it's not reported on weather.com
s historical precip?), and then one brief shower one afternoon.

Or as Greg said, go skiing in Tuolumne.

Been in the valley for about a week now. The weather report is way overrated. Rained on us at Arch Rock last Saturday, sprinkles on Sunday, and haven't felt a drop since Monday! Depends on where you climb, and what time of day. When it does rain, the clouds tend to build up in the morning, causing some precip in the mid-to-late-afternoon.

Climb early and fast if you want to get long routes in. If you're cragging, no worries at all.
