Probably too late for this weekend (2.5 - 3 hours drive), but Shelf Road is often sunny or at least dry and warmer when it's rainy and/or cold elsewhere.

Yes Im really here. Staying through Thursday or Friday visiting my wifes brother... IT was raining when we came down from the mountains...jonesing to get on some rock...
