Saw the man years ago, and surprisingly last year here in Delhi.
The event was sponsored by the state dept. in their attempt(s) at raising a cultural awareness of the good 'ol US of A.
The event was absolutely packed (as was another "blues" one this last fall).
Dude can play!

Went to a tiny club in Seattle to see him about '72. Got there early to nab a good table. We're priming the pump as some young dude comes out to fiddle with the electric piano. He goes off. Then he comes back on with the rest of the band and sits down at the piano. Hey, we'd only heard him! What a night it was, 25' from the stage; two loong sets.
