How about throwing in some clarification on whether this
http://www.cnn.com/2005/TRAVEL/04/19/yosemite.falls.ap/index.html

affects any climber access trails or the net affect on climbers.

Good. call. i have walked the new trail and am pretty sure it doesn't affect any climber access. it might make it a little harder to find Jamcrack using my Yosemite Free Climbs guidebook because i think the trail winds around in a slightly different spot...

and you can't park at the lower falls anymore. so you have to park at the lodge or camp 4.

Werner? Link? can you confirm what i have speculated on above?

Nothings affected, nothings changed, relax everything’s still there and can be found without any trouble. Park across the street from the ex falls lot will work too.

Man if people can’t find jam – crack route there’s defiantly something wrong.

"ample parking day or night" ...
Once, during the Nixon administration, I walked through that lot (the one Werner mentioned) with my Dad. There was a guy with dark curly hair and coke bottle glasses in a black suit, sitting on the curb next to a black limo with smoked windows, with his head in his hands mumbling and shaking said melon from side to side.
"Look, there's Henry Kissinger," my dad said.
I've alway wondered.

Lol ….. that’s a good one Jaybro.

Nixon administration???? Damn long time ago dude, Nixon’s the one that sent me my draft notice to Nam. Unfortunately I can’t hear sh-it so they told me to go home.

Springtime in the Valley! Good weather has launched wall climbing after a long, long winter (since last October).

North loop road closure and other construction related traffic alterations.

Werner
My Brother came up with a draft number of 27, when called to the draft board he came down with a history of 'migraines.,' they let him go, he seems to have gotten better over the years. Unlike your hearing situation; some problems seem to be more transient than others. Hmmm?

ps to be fair, They closed the draft a few months before it would have affected me. twice in my life I have had what might have been migraines, both in times of stress -mid divorce, etc. Who am I to judge?

Back on topic, any news on John the gambler?
