Last year, the entrance fee was waived. When I got to the gate though, the guy there didn't know what the facelift was. After consulting a few moments with someone else though, he let me in. I assume it's the same.
But hey, what do I know? :)

Too totally cool, all this fun planning ...I lose lists, I find lists, I make I don't give a list.
Just want to meet all youse cool people that have helped Linners through the toughest part of her life. Lynne is doing very good, and you guys are the best !

Hi Nita and everybody,
The fee is waived. The entrance stations have been notified. Just tell them you are here for the Facelift and also here to free solo Half Dome.
Firewood we can work out, I have some construction scraps and will see about a permit to gather wood at the wood yard. I might need help with this on the 20th or the 21st. I do have a chain saw. If Crowley and anyone else wants to bring wood that would be a great help.
I am checking on, and have been for awhile, the shower situation. I will let you know.
Last of all, access to Yellow Pines during the construction. Officially announced from the Park Service:
Access to Yellow Pine Campground During Road Construction
Enter Yellow Pine Campground via Southside Drive
Just before El Cap Crossover, Southside Dr narrows into one lane (the right lane is closed with barricades)
Remove(and replace)/go around the barricades and continue in the right lane and proceed to Yellow Pine Campground/Sentinel Beach Picnic Area (be prepared for rough road and watch for construction equipment and trucks)
Exit Yellow Pine Campground by turning right onto Southside Dr (back the way you came in)
Remove (and replace)/go around the barricades at El Cap Crossover and proceed to Northside Drive, which has been converted to two-way traffic back into the east valley (past the lodge and Camp 4).
To return to Yellow Pine from the Valley, you must drive all the way to Pohono Bridge and follow directions above.
Mister E is now a Corporal and in charge of curfew.

P.S. The Campground Hosts will be there and are looking forward to it. They are really nice folks. A reminder, we are sharing the campground with the Yosemite Fund on Friday and Saturday.

NITA, HEY, I was wondering if you were going to be there, now I know....I'm thinking about coming down for the facelift with Charleen since I'm not on any fires at the moment but is there still anywhere to camp??? Ok, after we all free solo half dome..we will collect our chain saws and bring it.....showers...Skully has already convinced me no one needs showers or beds or anything,,,,just throw it...somewhere and somehow.
