OT I Kknow but I am reading ST between answering replies to two adds I ran today. This reply caught my attention GOOOOD Price…..
Subject : 1,200 + SHEETS DRYWALL ..... Drywaller Needed
Reply
I can do this for roughly $4,800. That's 22.50 a sheet. If interested call XXXX at 303-XXX-####. I have 3 yrs of experience. Thank you and have a nice day.
Sadly I come up with $27,000 @ 22.50 per sheet.

Rich,
Who needs math skills to tape and mud? Agree to his $4800 and tell him you provide lunches too.

Agree to the $4.00/sheet price and then show him it's 1500 sheets on a ceiling.

The math becomes complex and convoluted if he's got a taping machine ("Bazooka") because the thing allows him to work so fast.
Time moves backwards when you work faster than the speed of light.
He'll start on Monday, do the last sheet on Friday, and finish two weeks before he started. The $4800 check will be cashed and spent before he even answers your ad.

"I may have to put on my bags tomorrow".
The horror, the horror!
Actually, these days when I get to put on my bags I feel like I'm on vacation.
Hope the job goes well.

If everyone was gone sure. But seems I don’t get the sh#t done that I want.
Plus making a bid today on a repo 1.3 worth 550 , tiring to design a three story postage stamp house and get another through engineering so start.
I am looking at blow up work shelters so keep the job going through winter. Ever seen one? Big warm air balloon to cover house.
77 ish I helped sew the largest blow up advertisement at that time, SD Ford superman. 45’ base and 85' tall.
They said it could not be done but Richard of San Diego Awning is genius with material and sewing machine.
Kept me in yellow and blue cordura for years using the scraps. Well back to work this afternoon will be too perfect not to climb at 60 degrees …
