Pretty cool. You can chart how often people use various search terms. Here's "Yosemite" vs. "Joshua Tree".

without the label, or caption, or something, it's guesswork
whether December or June is the peak of Yosemite queries.

how reliable are the absolute trends---decreasing dramatically in the case of "rock climbing" (blue) and "mountaineering"?

I think it's safe to assume that the plot ends in Nov. 2007, so that would make June the peak.
