Anybody have any input on shuteye ridge. Like to check it out this weekend if the weather holds up.
I found this page: http://www.totalclimbingonline.com/ROAD_TRIPS_PAG/Page_1x.html
which seems to paint it as a cool area to climb at. Specifically I'm wondering if there are some long 5.9 - 5.10 trad routes out there that are worth doing?

I think Mick Ryan just moved there. A RockFax guide must be in the works.

Hey Jason, just so you know, the SSCA folks are climbing at Shuteye this weekend, probably around 5-10 people is a usual number for one of their more remote events. If you go, say Hi to Matt Schutz for me - Greg

Climbed up there a bunch in 99', used to work for SYMG. Splitter cracks on the Voodoo Domes, Queens Throne has some really cool face climbs about 2 pitches, and yes the bouldering on shuteye well.... I have a friend who grew up in that area, did lots of FA in the area as well as on the Fuller Buttes, he has lots of (notebooks full) info., however he will not part with this because he thinks the adventure of this vast area should remain intact, lets keep at least ONE area this way.
