My tech guy just called me and said "hey, you're always in Yosemite. Check out channel 46". National Geographic Channel is running some show called "Secret Yosemite."

So I click over and sure enough, there's Link on Texas Flake. I guess this is a special about the geology, weather phenomena and other stuff. But it's got a nice little seg on El Cap climbing.

Now they've moved on to a seg on the Glacier Point rockfall.

This is a fairly cool special. Unfortunately now I've gotta go in to a meeting so I don't know what else is coming up but damn, I've gotta order this on dvd. Or at least go to their website later and watch the special uninterupted sometime when I'm not working. If you love the valley, you'll like this show.

Yea its Link and C Mac, pretty cool show but it may result in a crowded valley soon. We just hung a geologist off the side of a cliff here for a discovery geology show to air in august/september ish.

will be there soon,

It's a nice special, they did a good job but that should be no surprise as it's National Geographic. Aside from the climbing I liked the part about the sequoias. Neat!
