The French government has opened files covering sightings and investigations going back a long way.

Wild Bill, does that mean he was an Unidentified French Operator?

Paganmonkeyboy, I’d show my hands but since I am an extraterrestrial you wouldn’t recognise them

Alright, no levity here. We all know this is serious stuff. Aliens from Alpha Centauri Three have been looking things over on Earth for years and are, probably, planning an invasion. I personally believe they are responsible for 911 and Global Warming. It's well known by those in the know who know what is wellknown in knowing circles that these creatures can live comfortably only in a humid, hot climate high in CO2. I've not said anything previously about a certain climbing partner of mine(L)who manifests curious behaviors leading me to doubt his terrestrial origins; however, he may be one of the avant guard.

You MUST be talking about A. Crowley, no? That would explain a lot.

That is one of the best internet forum sentences I have ever read.

If these "flying objects" are "unidentified", what are the French files going to say?

"Somebody saw something in France, but we don't know what it is"?

One thing I haven't been able to understand, is that: If the president of the United States has to be born in the country or to a parent who is a US citizen at the time of birth, how did that rule escape the American people?

We all know that Dubya is from the Planet of Chimps.

So how did he get elected?

It couldn't have been the French, could it?

C'mon you guys! Didn't you see Men in Black? That wasn't fiction, you know--that was a documentary!

Think about it...Dennis Rodman, Sylvester Stallone...Donald Trump...and most of our politicians...could there really be any other explanation?

(Just because they're from another planet doesn't necessarily mean they're intelligent. I'm sure every alien culture has it's Bushes and Cheneys...and welcomes the opportunity to dump them all on poor little "slow-learner" Earth.)

"But many others involving multiple sightings -- in at least one case involving thousands of people across France -- and evidence such as burn marks and radar trackings showing flight patterns or accelerations that defy the laws of physics are taken very seriously."

It's easy to laugh at these but the above has interesting elements. What do we do with "patterns" that defy the laws of physics? Are ALL of these bogus? Is every last instance a case of false documentation? The tools which document these sightings (raar, et al) are relied on to report reality, but when what they record defies the laws is it perforce a problem with the tool? I really think most if not all of these UFO sightings are bunk, but what do sober folks say about the few (probably very few) cases that confuse us? Sayint there's some natural explanation is a false answer.

Bartender i knew was convinced he saw UFO's coming home from a stones concert in Jersey in the 70's. Told me with a totaly straight face that even though he had tripped that night the UFO thing was legit......

No UFO's for me, but I did find a bunch of "bigfoot" prints in the snow in on a frozen creek when I was about 12. Big stride, obvious toe impressions in recent snow, enough broken willow to imply a wide girth. It's one of those nagging things that I haven't been able to explain away.

more or less said by some famous science fiction writer, I think?

Were they freedom UFOs, or just the ordinary kind?

C'mon...look up at the night sky. "Something" is out there. They simply avoid us because of people like Cheney and Fatrad. Otherwise they might just stop in and say "hi."

Who cares where they come from or how they got here.

The critical issue is, do they climb sport or trad?

And why doesn't the government want us to know?

Hey Moof-

They are out there. Growing up in northern MN you hear about it. According to the Ojibwa, we are supposed to leave them alone. No sh#t.
