Massage from the "Works On My Machine Dept."

And that would be a drag cuz I have no Safari to test it with. Meh, upgrade yer' browser to something from this decade, eh? ;-P

You haters... uhh... ever hear of a password manager/vault? That said, I could explore integrating this with some SSO service. Just not now cuz; "Ach, mon! I got other 'chit on me plate, mon!"

Peace, out o/

Too secure bro... work machines are old... No safari available for testing? I thought you were some sort of pro or something?

The 14 letter password really kills it. Easier to write a paper on General Relativity than overcome the trauma of yet another password.

OhFerChrissake.

PW becomes a deal killer?

It's 2019. Lots of easy solutions to that.

Has anyone else has computer/WIFI issue since joining?

Got a Window notice that another computer on the network has the same IP address. I'm not on a network.

Turned on the TV to see the weather forecast. The redpoint forum was on the TV screen. WTF?

Not sure what the hell is going on as my TV is not connected to my WIFI. My cable and WIFI are both provided by ATT/Direct TV.

SmartTV™™™ just got busted watching you. Better put your pants back on

I knew that 14 letter password thingy was odd... probably grants unlimited access to all your smart devices. Did you read the TOS like Norton read the ACA??? Well, did ya????

Same here. I cringed but entered my 16 character password. Then it told me my password was weak and must be at least 14 characters. When I tried to login it told me my username/password was incorrect.

Why all the security? Geeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez

I recommend a password of 6 characters with NO need for numbers, special characters or other bullshit*&%*^%$*(*@!!!

So an extended, secure password makes your computer open to data loss?

Christ.

bv, better give it up. 2019 is obviously waaaaay to difficult for this crowd.

I have at least 50 different independent entities that I need a password to open including three different jobs, school accounts and banks. Each job has minimum two passwords to access a server of which each server makes me change the password every three months and not to a password I’ve used in the last year. Which means I have to add another letter, number or symbol to an existing cluster f*#k of letters, numbers and symbols every three months.

It’s a bloody nightmare and my entire system is always on the verge of collapse. I believe it to be a grand conspiracy to drive me even deeper into insanity; or at the very least this is an avenue for sociopaths whose job is passwords to justify their existence, which in any other time they would surely be caste down with the sodomites.

And now a forum page asks me to add yet another individualized password. And it’s of a length that approaches one of the longer novels of Dostoyevsky !!!
Well , I tell you ... this is no small thing to consider..

I work security at a well known Defense contractor, passwords up the a s s, same as Riley above. One thing which you probably already know, that I learned that was useful, was easily coming up with passwords by thinking of a phrase or word then "spell" it using characters, letters and numbers to replace the letters in the word or phrase and still resemble it visually. May be obvious to most but it helped me deal with the issue.

The password I used to register for redpoint has never been used before.

They have gotten into my computer, cable and WIFI.

OMG....if this ancient, barely able to maneuver around the ether net, can think of and enter a password, surely you viral young men can?

Oops! I meant virile, but maybe I'll leave as is. :)

you viral young men can

These supertopo people are all old over the hill fookers drooling into their cereal.

That's why this forum is dead and shutting down as this place looks like Chernobyl after the nuke reactor blew up ....
