hey there say... say... (i have seen the 'scooter' for healing of broken ankles, etc, or surgery) but say:
can't they invent something similar to this, HOVER BOARD--
for our elderly, so they an at least use it with a WALKER... OR at the edge of a shopping cart?
i mean-- (i have actually NEVER seen these before... just learned about this from grandkid in south texas) ... so i looked it up, with my 'question' and
actually FOUND this youtube clip: HOVER BOARD AND, WALKER...
--i mean... can't they 'get the balancing' issue or, whatever, perfected, or the speed, or anything, that can make this WORK in a practical way for folks
that really HURT when they walk... :(
okay, i know... wishful thinking... :(
fun video, though, for THOSE that took the time to stop by, here,
for this 'seriously' real wonder that i have been mulling over,
right now...

*i'm really amazed that they GOT all the drivers off the road, for to do this...
hee hee... ;)

That is a great question, Neebee. I think we will be seeing many new modes of transportation for people who don't have the ability to walk efficiently.

Balance can be an issue for some people as they age. The equilibrium gets off kilter. But some version of a motorized ultralight chair seems like it could be a great option.
I've had my own balance go off since I had a fall on ice and hit my head back in winter w015. Seriously, I can be standing still and suddenly feel like my body's axis is about to tilt.

hey there, say, all...
yes-- not street safe, as to the man, in the video, etc...
but-- still there must be someway to 'work this through' invention-wise,
for our elders...
so they can stand up and get around (without too huge of a framework) ...
oh my, yeah, happiegrrl, the BALANCE would sure not work, as that
HOVER BOARD works by 'leaning back' or 'leaning forward' ...
but still... (i love the 'but still' ... there must be some grest
clever engineers out there???)
edit: oh my, nouse... really :O 19 mph, oh myyyyyyy, hooblie, :O
:)
thanks for chipping in, everyone...
