Littlegreen footballs et al,
Iran's head negotiator on nukes emphasized that their nuke program was only for peaceful purposes--energy; but, if we attacked, they'd use their nukes against us.
It may be time for the head muzzie to fire this guy, but we should thank the dolt on his way to the firing squad.

Ah back to the status quo.
Nuclear ambiguity a-la-Israel seems to be the way in the middle east these days.
Hell if I were actually attacked I'd retaliate too. No pre-emption, just retaliation.
You need to remember, Woody.
America and Israel won't attack countries with Nukes. Has the US attacked N. Korea? No. Have we attacked Pakistan(Islamic nation du-jour)? No.
That is why everyone in the ME is trying to get them.
The US has them.
Israel has them.
The US will only "allow" countries to have them, or any nuclear power for that matter, if it will bolster their day-to-day position.

'what's a "muzzie"?'
At littlegreenfootballs.com everyone is referred to in shorthand for ease of typing. Muzzies, spicks, etc. It just saves time.

No,no. A muzzie is a smelly fellow who looks around furtively and wears very thick clothing.

Oh, TGIMN...thank God it's Martini-night. How would they retaliate in that fashion if they only had peaceful intentions and no bomb? Why do they need that domestic energy production with all that oil? They're environmentally conscious and want to spare greenhouse gasses? I don't think so.
