I have finally come to terms that my dear cobbler will be unable to mend my current pair due to my horrible crack technique. I can see their end, and as my preferred shoe is no longer in production, I'm starting my search early.

Anyone have any leads on size 5 womens Acopa Aztecs?

I also may be enticed to give a different style a trial if they fit similarly to the Aztecs or Boreal Vectors...

Thanks all!

Cheers

Maybe time to find a shoe made in the last decade.

sure, I'm game, any suggestions of styles that are similar to the 2 I specified above?

I would help if I could, but I'm not familiar with those two shoes.

I would suggest going to a shop and trying on everything they've got. Zappos also has free return shipping.

Have you tried Scarpa?

I've only tried their hiking boots.

Not sure even where to start with their many styles of shoe. Do Scarpas tend to have wide toe boxes and narrow heels?

Trying on shoes in stores can be fraught, as my size isn't commonly stocked, and the last few times, had to be special ordered from the manufacturer, so I like to have a head start.

Thanks!

I have wider feet, and La Sportivas have never really fit me. A sad fate of which I learned when I showed up at the shop to purchase some fancy new Kaukulators and had to accept they just didn't fit. Scrapas and Acopas (when they were available) fit me well.

Sounds like you have the same shape foot as me. I have lately found that the men's version of the Butoro ENDEAVOR CRIMSON - WIDE FIT and they go down to women's size 34.5.

LS . . . 5.10's tend to trend toward wider feet. What about the TC Pro? I generally love the La Sportiva last for my "narrow" feet but the TC Pro is too wide for me.
