The beauty is now Malinda Chouinard - Pennoyer then.

I'll wait for more responses before naming the mystery climbers.

Doesn't Roger Breedlove and Chris Jones look like brothers? I never climbed with either but have had the privilege to meet both of them.

GLee, all wrong!

John Hansen, wrong!

Let's give more people a chance. The correct identities will be revealed only after Breedlove comments.

Bridwell, I'd know anywhere.

Is Birthday Boy a very young Clevenger?

I'm guessing the hand belongs to Galen Rowell.

Is that Mary Lou in the last one?

edit: Are we having fun yet?

A flash of instant recognition laying along side complete blanks with hazy recollections floating past. The worst of losing your memory is being aware of it. For all of my life, "I don't know," brought on no doubts or judgments; now it is all risk.

In the first batch, all seem obvious except 3, 4, 6. "You know, the guy with the beard." I think that 6 looks like Boche.

In the second batch, I don't recognize as many. The first looks like Ken.
The middle guy in the second picture looks very familiar, but I am drawing a blank on his name. I think he was a school teacher and visited Toulumne in the early seventies, but no longer climbed. Is that Michael Cohen with Jim in picture 3? It looks like you with Roper in picture 4. I thought of Vern as birthday boy and Galen behind the hand, as did Brian.

Thought Bridwell in the Bud sweater.
But too short.. Rowell?

Hand look like Jim's.
Sort of.
Nowadays it's craggier and more gnarled.
