Hello!

I reached out to you guys a while back. Then I had recently had an ICD fitted, hadn´t climbed for 15 years due to heart problems and was starting to experimenting with what i could do on rock. You guys motivated me to do some more, thanks for that!!

Now i´m in a decent rock form, nothing like it was when i stopped at 20yo but i have been training endurance and feel that the fingers are pretty strong and i can keep going. Now i have booked a ticket to the states to climb in Yosemite in october and have also planned some interesting trad trips locally and have hooked up with my old climbing partners for regular days at the crag when the snow melts.

Thanks forum, i´m a regular reader, don´t post regularly but it has been motivating to see what people are up to :)

A tip o' the hat to ye laddie! I hope you have a fabulous trip to Yosemite. I would love to hear about your adventures when you have completed your trip. This is quite wonderful news about your recovery of some personal strength and your embarkation on new adventures. Most wonderful and thanks for sharing the stoke.

Thanks for the encouragement :) i will post the trip when we have finished and some shots from the season in general.

hey Pete, i´m up here in Iceland. Way up north :) only once been climbing in the states before, long time ago i spent a month in Rifle so this will be a different ball game. Looking forward to it, can´t wait :)
