Simon McCartney's book, "The Bond", about his and Jack Roberts' climbs of the North Face of Mt. Huntington in 1978, and the S.W. Face of Denali in 1980, as well as Simon's 1979 winter ascent of The Eiger, is finally here! I just received the copies I ordered directly from Vertebrate Publishing, but I see that it will be available on Amazon starting July 28. Really, it's a great book....I'm not just saying that! :-) It's been entered in the Banff Book festival for the Boardman/Tasker award........get this book and be the first on your block to read it!!!
