I have one of those original patagonia pile jackets. I'd be happy to mail it to you if you really think anyone would want it.

I'll send it next week Cmac. (Travelling right now). No need to provide a label. Shipping cost will be part of my donation. It won't cost much - within California. And mine is is much better shape than the one in your pic!

Chris/ASCA:
I have a new pair of BD alpine aiders, a BD carbon/cork trekking pole, assorted biners, an old MSR water filter, a 'tuning fork', and an old Leeper Z-pin. Can you handle the FedEx? I think it'll take two boxes--the pole is kind of an odd size.

Hey, I resemble that remark! After Don Peterson passed the jacket on, it got me through three winters in grad school at University of Wisconsin-Madison where the temps can dip to -25F!

Lol, Bruce. I'll post a photo of mine when I get home and you can judge for yourself. But your's will auction for more money as I am the only person who ever wore mine.
I do have a funny story about that jacket though. I ran into TM Herbert at the Tuolumne store in the mid-90s and he came up and said, wow I can't believe you still have one of those old jackets. So it was considered an antique even then I guess.

This doesn't look exactly like Bruce's. It's probably a less ancient....excuse me, vintage model.
Is this ok for the auction?

Chris~I thought I'd send some of my students to Tahoe to deliver the goods...but that might not be such a good idea. Will box up something after spring break.
PhylP~Looks MINT! And far too warm for the wilds of Upland. Mine is a strange singed-unborn-linoleum brown and is only appropriate in a full blown snow storm!
