Rock Climber Plummets to the Ground

http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=a8a_1445030401

I have no other details. Usually, people who say "Nice!!" over and over are gym climbers. I don't think any of these folks caught the seriousness of what happened.

No, it was not a sloppy belay, and he did not hit the ground.
I saw this linked from rockandice.com .
His top cam pulled, and he came close to decking, but was saved.
(This description is also on the youtube link).

I pulled the "plummets to the ground" from the original posting; I can plainly see he did not deck. They were top roping and I'm not buying the top cam pulled story; he was not setting gear on the way up and he did not go on a lower piece.

Look to me like he was above the piece that pulled. He stepped on it and or dragged his foot over it. Then he fell and it pulled. The next piece down caught him. Looks like it was a bolt. But hard to tell.

You are 100% wrong.

The other posters above who saw he was leading also were correct.

You can clearly see he was on the lead and his last piece blew when he fell.

His belayer did not do a sloppy belay like you seem to think.

Maybe your computer/screen doesn't show the video clearly enough?
