Yup, Ron Anderson, the Commander in Chief of the Supertopo Militia, has vanished. Along with all of his posts.
A total nutbar, but I'll miss him. I hope he's having fun plinking cans (and saving Texas from being taken over by the US Army).

If I ever get my mind around what it is or was that causes this default to zero!
Can the offensive posts and crap lord who spewed just get a time out there time out a year suspension no need to go on,here.
I think then bit by bit trash talking political threads will end squished by the weight of their own offensive reteroric.
Guns, subject of hunting and shooting vast gulfs of disagreement between Climbers driving the show, was /has ruined the whole genre, the Internet is full of Skeletal Remains of once popular sites.

Ron was a little bit of a redneck, and had some off the wall views for sure. But I think he had allot of valid points, but why consider that when its so easy to just stick your head in the sand and make fun of him.

I might not agree with Ron on some points of discussion, yet I thought he brought a lot of knowledge to the forum. In addition to his historical knowledge of the Tahoe area climbing, I particularly enjoyed his thread on taxidermy, his fishing and hunting experience and his wild land fire knowledge.
This sucks, this forum is becoming as lame as Mountain Project.

You know, I don't think Ron should've gotten whacked, if that's what happened. And even if he was, I don't think all his posts should've been deleted (unless he requested it, and perhaps not even then).
But as a woman, I'm really getting f-ing sick of people putting others down here by using terms associated with women: "pussies," "sissies," "crying like little girls."
