I read it; think even the very last post posted....It was mega-slander. Vile, angst-written, nasty bejesus....ooooh...and gossipy, too.
I can't repeat what it said, it was so.....distasteful.
And...I had no idea whatsoever whom any of the people it mentioned were.

The honorable Capt. had some choice words regarding Jack Hoeflich. It was mostly slander and bad mouthing. "He" made it sound like the guy is worse than Lober was in his prime. It was the typical "that ranger is out to get each and every climber - stooping to the level of illegal searches yadda yadda."
It was sooo "good" coiler even chimed in (agreeing with the Capt., of course).
Anastasia was the voice or reason. Mick had a great idea. Otherwise it was pretty bad. So bad I read the whole thing (can't remember when I did that).
I'd like to read more stories regarding this individual. I'd imagine if they were not heavily oriented towards straight-up slander they might not get whacked. There might have been some truth in there somewhere.
T*R - that this is going on in *your* national park makes in none of your beeswax (gossip aside)?

Karl didn't deserve that crap. I have never met Karl but I can see there is a lot to admire in him. I guess he made the mistake of saying something that made sense...in a thread that made a mess.
