AMEN. That still doesn't reverse the bullshit the Bush - Obama transition caused in the 08 crisis that gave preference to 5 of the Major banks over everyone else.

She would make a good president. Certainly better than any of the Republican contenders. I'm sticking with Hillary, though.

Bush drove us off the cliff. Obama brought us back. ^^ One of these would continue the job. The important thing is to not take a step back by electing a Republican (Bush the 3rd). You'll get a close look at how they operate in the next 2 years.

Beatiful speech. Like she said Washington works very well for the wealthy interests.

Of course it does ...they hired almost every congressman senator and definitely the president.

They hired them through making them viable candidates (republican or democrat) with legal bribes called campaign donations. Unless some wealthy interests like you (and you like them) very few can run effectively for elected federal office.

Damn, in a Hollywood movie starring Kevin Spacey and Meryl Streep, she would get assassinated for talking like that.....

And that's why you'll end up with nothing but sterile politards like Hitlery's or Jeb Bush's for your next POTUS.

She doesn't need to worry. They have nothing to fear form her.. they have more than a majority in congress willing to do their bidding most of the time.

Infact having her there helps them make the claim that America is still a representative government for the people. She is good harmeless window dressing.

Don't buy this latest load of BS from these Washington political class fools . They are gaming the public once again. Let's set the record straight on who did and didn't oppose bailouts in the past:

One wonders which of these famous progressives the New York Times has in mind when it states — as uncontested fact — that “the liberal base of the Democratic party” “opposed the Wall Street bailout of 2008.” Elizabeth Warren did not oppose the bailout per se, though she was critical of the way the Treasury Department implemented it. The bailouts were enabled by the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008, which enjoyed the support and votes of Senator Barack Obama of Illinois, Senator Joe Biden of Delaware, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton of New York, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, Senator Charles Schumer of New York, Representative Barney Frank of Massachusetts, Senator Patrick Leahy of Vermont, Representative Jesse Jackson of Illinois, Representative Sheila Jackson Lee of Texas, etc. The people who actually opposed bailouts by voting against bailouts were not in the main progressives, but were disproportionately conservative Republicans: Representative Michele Bachmann of Minnesota, Representative Michael Burgess of Texas, Representative Jeff Flake of Arizona, Senator Sam Brownback of Kansas, Senator Jim DeMint of South Carolina, etc.

Warren was part of an attempt to shut down the Fed by opposing this spending bill over a minor bullshit provision which she opposed and has used to try to campaign off of. Where's all the criticism for her attempting to shut down the Fed? Where's the outrage from all the legions of hypocrites out there that regard shutting down the Feds as a crime against humanity?

Plenty of Conservatives wanted to stall this spending bill as well ----in an attempt to unfund Obama's immigration and health care debacle.
She actually joined these conservatives in an attempt to shut down the government. If the bailout provision was so egregious why didn't Obama and all these Dems join her in proposing a CR ---like conservatives were trying to do?
They didn't do this because it was in their interest to join RINO Republicans and avoiding a CR.
Make no mistake ---this spending bill was a victory for Obama and the Dems as well as Establishment Rinos.
The American people were the losers ---once again.

Warren is treating her deranged and increasingly marginalized progressive base like the dumbies they really are.

But you have to admit a Clinton-Warren ticket would be something of a change.

Intriguing ticket, HFCS. Love to see it. If Warren runs, would Hillary pick a rival as VP (assuming she'd win), after a prolonged primary battle? Not sure about that. And would 2 women on the ticket be considered too radical for America? I'd love to see it.

The righties and their $$ boys are aiming towards Bush or Romney, assuming they run. Christie has too much baggage and Paul is too weird for the top spot.

The lazy, Perpetual Complaining Class, well represented on ST, will drone on about the undesirability of an establishment candidate, of course. So much easier to be against someone than argue in favor of a candidate and their record.

Crankster, it does seem to me - from this outsider's perspective - they could compliment each other. It would be a double dose of "estrogen vibe" at the White House, that could be interesting, lol! It would be insightful too: If it were to go down and once again after 4 or 8 years little or nothing changed regarding gov and politics as usual, economic indices, class struggle, etc. that would be telling (some proof in the pudding) as well.

EDIT They'd certainly get my vote over any Bush-? ticket - you could take that to the bank.
