I vote for a daily posting limit
because this limiting posting action will do nothing to stop the vitriol of those few while using their posting limit.
This page is intended to be the thread where you can offer the names of posters that you think the site would be better off if they were known[?][ booted?]. You must state a reason [because...such and such] and some text as evidence of the offender's vitriol.
But I am not fooling myself? This thread will not work either because the ones that get hurt are too much of a chicken to post real names but are content to be whiners.
Should Chris have whiner detectors? Or offer hormones for thick skin growth?
Let's put Ron on this list for starters. I offer no text because all or any of his text would qualify.
Just kidding Ron I could give a damn what you say. As a side line note, it looks like there are plenty of folks that rise to the occasion of your restraint when they think you need restraint.
Perhaps those that speak the loudest are those that get empathetic from hearing the whiners?
There is a lot of feedback and feed-forward going on here. The social interaction map is complicated.

if you need to wipe it, it sounds like your dingus has been in some A-hole. I suspect it was a sheep's as it is clear you don't know how to interact with people to get what you want.
Please tell us if you had sheep consent.

Dingus, though a bit obtuse, I think the original intent of your post was to help promote civility on ST? Oh, wait, I get it - you're trolling! You need some work on your social skills.
It's not really about naming names. Sounds like witch hunting or McCarthyism. It's about showing some self-restraint so that we don't suck all the fun out of this place by being only self-serving and make sure to post so that we're adding to the pot.
Slap or ignore the trolls instead of feeding them. The "Wild West" nature of ST and the characters here are part of the fun.

Putting my own name on this list.
I'll add scrubbing bubbles too for adding nothing of value ever.
As well C Mac for starting 2 OT troll threads in the past week that got everyone all fired up in the first place.
While we are at it, everyone who doesn't have at least one climbing related post in their most recent page of 20 posts is making this place worse, not better and should take 5 too.

I sort of cannot accept you apology as it would be like accepting fees for a service you didn't receive [was I trolled? Some may insist.], as I don't live in the trolling vs. good guy world. It is more like it is all trolling and all goody guys [social skills?].

you advised, "do not feed the trolls." How seriously do you take yourself? This site is bar-room/campfire chatter--sort of the wild west. Have you feelings been hurt from replies on this site?
All I see here is text, I learned to stop adding my feelings to text long time ago. I no longer get a hard on from reading C*#k novels. Bring out the Viagra when you got Something to use it on. For your hurt feeling? Try Prozac, if you overreact to text.
