Harley (the cat) boiled outside to go to the catbox in the wild, this morning, and stuck inside the rest of the day.

I had two longer journeys with the big garbage can on wheels, down to the country road for pickup, and later, back to house.

I had to keep repeating to myself: "bend ze knees und stay flexible." Austrian Ski Instructor wisdom to a young Fritz back in the 1950's in Sun Valley, Idaho.

Got any "Early Winter, cold as Schist stories?"

Hey it's winter alright in California. I put on a long sleeve shirt to go to the climbing gym last night. I even brought a light synthetic fleece jacket just in case, but that was an overreaction.

Winter came early here in SoCal this year. I wore long pants today.

That's lame, the 'except for Cali' part. There were some clouds coming over the crest like little cat's feet at sunset though...

I'm honored to post after Bob Harrington.

I'll report it did indeed rain this morning here and something weird was certainly going on with the weather because the fish stopped biting yesterday. But I was wearing shorts by 3 pm.

We're freezing here in Colorado. We just had the coldest Nov. 12 night since they started keeping track in 1882.

I am so happy for your blessed California lives.

Of course you folks have a different definition of cold weather.

I only fire up the heater a few times each year. Bringing three big dogs in keeps my tiny joint warm on all but the coldest California nights.

You folks in California as so-lucky to be there and I am so-happy for your wonderful lives.

Rush hour yesterday was pretty tough in Choss Creek.

It was chilly today with a short sleeve shirt in San Francisco, but not as cold as a usual August day.

The weather has been weirdly warm since spring this year. No cold fog.

My sister Lenna told me they stayed in all day at Cedar Ridge in Sonora. She said that they'd had about an inch up there.

It was a bit cold, like 60 degrees this afternoon, though...California winter.

Bagging on California on a California-based site is so cool, so now, so wow.

It's actually supposed to get cold in Bishop on Sunday - we have had a good run - yesterday at Clark Canyon:
