Any one on this site ever used or camped at Indian Flat outside the park?
Ernita and I will be in the Valley for a few days at the end of July. All sites are fully booked. We won't arrive till late, so camp four isn't really an option.
Traveling back to Mongolia afterwards, we'll be using one of their tent cabins. We have no camping gear with us.

stayed there from time-to-time... both in one of the cabins and with a bag out.
Usually this is in the fall or winter, though... maybe hot in July.
Close to the road, but that didn't seem so bad (comparable to the Sand Lot) and you can use the pool and jacuzzi at the Cedar Lodge next door (I believe).

Thanks for the comments so far. Much appreciated. Trip adviser comment made it seem horrible, but who knows what those posters are looking for.
Ernita and I need a place to sleep and shower. We'll have our own bedding. During the day, we're in the valley roasting on the cliffs. Last week of July will be hot, but the only time we can get there this year.
Looks like they have a tent cabin for us. Should survive a few days easy enough.
Who knows, maybe some of you will be in the valley and we can hook up.

Swimming holes, all you can eat buffet next door, hot-tub. Might not get much climbing done in July

it's OK! Not the best place to camp, but perfectly acceptable.
