The Michigan Ice Fest presented by La Sportiva will take place January 30- February 2nd 2014. Hope to see any Supertopo folks at the event! We have a great lineup of presentors/guides with: Will Mayo, Kelly Cordes, Mark Wilford, Sam Elias, and Ben Erdmann. Registration is now open!

hey there say, bill... wow, thanks for sharing! too far away for me, :O
but say, i been there once, in the summer... i met and knew a lady named lois o'divero (spell)?, she was very nice to me... was a nice trip...
sounds like something that doug buchanan would have liked, maybe?
they had a link on his web site, with different ice festivals...
feralfae would know what they are, faster than me...

Thanks Neebee- here is a shot from years past. Ice is really coming in early this year so we should have loads to climb! Hopefully you can make it back sometime in the future

Bill.....is that deep water ice soloing.....brrrr! Just kidding, have a great fest, i really, really enjoyed the times i was there.
For those who don't know....Bill and crew put on a high quality event punctuated by the extreme friendliness of folks up there in the north woods.

Great times and fun climbing. If your within 6 or 7 hours you ought to go for sure.

Hey Jim! Here is your deep water solo! We would love to have you back....how about next year?

Jebus...time for a second honeymoon. You and your bride can stay at Scotty's and get some ice climbing in!
