Pay Nay died last night, November 29, of heart failure related to his recent surgery. His brother, Mark, posted the news on fb a little while ago.
Terrible news.

hey there say, all.... oh no, oh my, no... i am so very sad to hear this...
too sad, right now, for his family and loved ones and good buddies...
he JUST thanked me, on the line few nights ago, for his 'get well' dreamcatcher-gift,
:(
i will always cherish that nice thank you--
very sad... i did not know him, but from here, and it just goes to show:
goodness, can step off the internet and reach others, as, this makes me
cry now...
condolences to his dear family... and prayers at this sad hard time
of shock...
as as to this:
THocking:

He was hoping to join us last night for a Turkey dinner. Did not hear from him so was going to bring him some leftovers this afternoon..
F*ck. Losing a dear friend is such an empty feeling. But Lord he was super supportive of me during some hard times and for that I love him forever.
THANK you for helping us NEW to knowing pat (can't say),
see what a great climber-buddy and friend, and man, he was to his
family and loved ones...
oh my....
sad day...
edit:
was trying to find his wife's name? did he have one?:
this is from the prostrate cancer, thread, for pat:

Whew, I'm glad that part's over. Youze guys are fantastic. It was a tough few days but now that I'm home I'm feeling much better. Karen thanks so much for all you've done.
After having to suffer post op gastric disconfort from opiate pain meds, I'm see how using ingestible thc compares and so far they friggin rock.
More later when I can post from my computer instead of phone.
Wish I could have made the memorial
karen:
dear karen, (saw the cancer post, earlier)
we all thought he was getting well,
and that makes this TWICE as hard for you, and for family,
and all, we know...
love and hugs and prayers to family, once again, at this sad hard time...
you are not forgotten by us...
also:
to jeff and cynthia, who were getting ready to go visit him, :(

Very sad and a shocker. At last check he was doing well after surgery with clean pathology report. Some days weak but getting stronger - the docs said something like 4-6 weeks for recovery and we thought he was on the mend. Having his heart give out, is a huge shock which took our friend much too soon.
I knew Pat casually but he was always good to run into and happy to help me out in a few situations. We were watching and hoping for many more years of good times together.
For those of you who knew Pat well and the family, our deepest condolences.
