Is it legal?
Anyone has some cool photos/stories?
A friend is wondering which peaks might be good for jumping, any advice?

Cool stuff from Dave, but that's not base jumping, although it is rad.
Buddha may be right about so-called "legality" of jumping from Sierra peaks largely because most of the likely jumps would be in Sequoia Kings Canyon National Park.
Screw the man. If you have the skill, take the jump. I'm so sick of The Man regulating us for our own safety. I'm surprised sometimes that climbing is still "allowed" giving how soft we have become as a society.
Rant off.

Lots that I can think of are in Inyo Nf. Mount Morrison, Keeler Needle and Whitney, Lone pine peak, maybe some steep choss near split mountain and taboose pass.... Hmmm in the park there is tehipite and angel wings and Chamberlain. Probably won't get caught there. He he.
