You're still on the ground. You might be doing the same thing with binoculars? That would still be ground up, but would be with beta.
Does the angle of the view then make it a top down ascent?

would be kind of convenient for those recon trips where you think the wall would be worth, but you're not quite sure.
Kind of like flying in an airplane taking pics before the trip.
