i recall a piece in rock and ice a few years hither
where some renown photographers gathered to
document the glorified and decrepid disaster that we's
celebrate as heroic, and exploit as confidence building.
i think that might have been a few years ago,
right when warren and miles came down from
their proud (and unrepeated?) first ascent of some east face route.
