I have fond memories of waking up in the mornings in the boulders high above Camp 4, with hang gliders soaring over our heads.

I didn't know this was legal. I'm surprised you don't see more of it. I wonder if paragliding is legal too?

Back in the 70s, hang gliders were a common sight in the Valley.

I hear its what they call 'a sled ride' . Do you guys ever find thermals in the valley? Going up and over to half dome would be way cool. Maybe even land on top for lunch. :)
