The Madison and Minneapolis premieres were a raging success this past month. 450+ people came to the Madison premiere alone, along with a number of DLFA guys (and one DLFA gal). Huge thanks to everyone who made the film and the premieres a success.

Darin's site is up and running for downloading the film. Check it out here: http://DLFAfilm.com and get yourself a copy!

Got the film a while back and thought it was great! It is especially good if you know some of the guys in the film. Nice history and even some climbing footage!

But... How do you actually get a tshirt that does not cost $35? I'm all over some shirts, but just don't have that kinda jackness for some new threads. I checked the site (DLFAfilm.com) with no success.

Please advise.

I "Looked" and then clicked the "blog" page.

On Top at beginning it starts "Oxford man dies in fall ..."

lol

I can just see, n00b or non climber goes there and "thinks" these climber types are crazy ......

Just bought the download. Can't wait! Devil's Lake is really a unique place to climb.

Edit: So...it's been a couple of hours, and I still haven't received the link for the download. Lil' help!

Mine showed up like right away... Took two hours to download though with all the sand in our lines.

I'll whip out the obvious.... check your junk mail?

Russ- click on "purchase film here" and then when the shopify link comes up click the left option.

I'll also ask Darin to make sure that's the way, I didn't buy mine that way.

For reasons only old Bill can explain, I am sorry to say Swilliam turned down the opportunity to be interviewed for this film. It's too bad because his input as one of the first "self proclaimed" presidents of the DLFA for LIFE would have certainly added much insight to our somewhat twisted club. Old Bill was one fine prez and example of walking the fine line of fuk-nes! Peace and fuk-nes. Steve Sangdahl

steve s- The film makers didn't slap him around enough to get him in line.

How could Mr. Midwest avoid the limelight here?!?

Perhaps Mimi and I could work some magic if the producers are still willing to add content. I'll have to oil up the thumbscrews for the occasion.

Steve G. The word on the street is Mr. Midwest would not do an interview for the film out of "principle" . As one friend put it "you know he really wanted to ......but out of principle , no".
I don,t want to speak for Bill as he is a good friend and I have the utmost respect for him, I believe he wouldn't,t do it because he still feels strongly that when he left Devil,s lake the DLFA was done. That couldn't,t be farther from the truth but we did lose a damn fine clubber. Most of us left within a few years of old Bill anyway. Peace and fuk-nes steve s. Now Puke!
