The Caltech Alpine Club and American Alpine Club are hosting Chad Kellogg, who completed the second ascent of the Corkscrew Route on Cerro Torre with Colin Haley, for a slideshow. The slideshow is free, and there will be refreshments and snacks.


Date: Wednesday, 3/13
Time: 7 pm, but come 15 minutes early to chat and eat
Location: Caltech, Pasadena (details on event page)

I hung out with Chad in Chalten (we both stayed in Aylen Aike) the night they got down from the corkscrew....him and Colin are amazing climbers and very personable people....i wish i lived near there cause i would love to support my friend...it was alot of fun getting to know them this winter...inspiring..

Ps...having seen most of the pictures this slideshow is not to be missed!!

Great slide show tonight - so glad we went!

Amazing pictures and stories, combined with an unheard-of 12-out-of-15-day climbing window. True to form, Chad climbed every one of those 12 days.

Also great to catch up with a friend I haven't seen for 19 years! Pre-show:
