The one in the background is easy. I know Loomis will get it. The low dome in the foreground is a mystery to me. This was taken looking NNE from Rockhouse Peak.

E.C. Joe: Vernon shows Radiant Dome as being east of Bart and north of Tibbets Creek. The foreground dome is south of Tibbets and in a line with Bart and Rockhouse. From a camp at Bart, that dome would not have that bad of an approach.

Patrick: That's the Domelands Wilderness in the Southern Sierra, north-east of Kernville. Nice country and good rock. Bart Dome is a pretty easy six mile walk in from Big Meadow.

Gary, that's what I thought, though I wasn't sure if was the area around Mammoth Pool Reservoir or Courtright Reservoir. I've always wanted to climb in the Domelands... and Needles, Mammoth Pool area, Courtright etc...

Gary,
The dome in the foreground is north of Tibbets Creek trail and south of Trout Creek. Check yer map. The dome in the lower right foreground is Moon Dome (really Bee Dome).

Oops, I screwed up in the original post, E.C. The photo is looking NW from Rockhouse, not NNE. We were camped at Bart, and cross-countried to Rockhouse using the foreground dome as a navigation mark. On the topo, a bearing from Bart to Rockhouse intersects this dome. We descended Tibbets a short distance, crossed it to the south, started up a drainage that beared SW, then SE'ly up to a ridge. Followed that ridge SW'ly to a confused area of intersecting ridges, marked by the W'ly nose of the foreground dome. Then E'ly to Rockhouse. The foreground dome is definitely south of Tibbets and a long way from Trout Creek.

We had too late a start to be able to investigate it up close, unfortunately. After almost treading on a diamondback, we slowed our pace considerably!

And yes, I'll check my map.
